2009 was a humdinger. Early this year, I had planned a trip to Gatlinburg, at my expense, for Mom, Cecil, all the kids. Then sickness set in...first Ben's dad, then Eugene, then Cecil and then Pid and Cleed and on and on. So, needless to say, no trip. We came out of it all without our little, bity Cleed. But I think she was tired and ready...I really do. I still have all her emails and cannot part with them. I plan to go print them out so I can never lose them.
I still have her e-mail address in my contacts and can't delete it yet. I, too, have all her e-mails and will keep them. I also have almost all her journals that she'd kept for years. I haven't even looked through them yet...maybe I can later. Amanda wants to keep them when Jerry and I both are gone from this world.
